Tilt to Live: Gauntlet's Revenge is an upcoming iOS and Android endless dodger spin-off
Multiple deaths await
One Man Left has just announced Tilt to Live: Gauntlet's Revenge for iOS and Android. It's an endless dodger spin-off of the Tilt to Live games.
Tilt to Live: Gauntlet's Revenge was actually borne of One Man Left's dissatisfaction with the Gauntlet modes in the studio's first game and its HD version.
For the Silver Award-winning Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous, the studio wanted to do Gauntlet mode some justice, and sought to make it the best DLC for the series yet.
More gauntletsAfter putting together a prototype Gauntlet mode with a bunch of enemies and track pieces, One Man Left had a bunch of questions for itself.
"What if you could reach some kind of bonus room if you survived long enough? I have a lot of leftover obstacle ideas; what if we did a few different Gauntlets? Can we evolve Tilt to Live's abstract art style into something more interesting?"
By answering these questions through practical means, One Man Left 'stumbled' upon a Gauntlet mode in Tilt to Live 2 that was just too large to be considered a simple DLC update.
So, now we can look forward to Tilt to Live: Gauntlet's Revenge, which will be heading to iOS and Android later this year as a standalone game.
